EATING

THE MOST IMPORTANT MEAL OF THE DAY...

There are many things you'll remember from your time in Rutland and we're pretty sure that for our B&B guests the delicious hearty Rutland Cottage breakfast will be one of them! We've chosen the best ingredients Rutland has to offer. They are all locally sourced from the friendly and professional people that live here.

We kindly ask you to fill in a breakfast order the evening before and pop it in the flowerpot outside your door before you retire for the night (or 10pm, whichever is earlier). We hope to suit everyone's taste but we are always happy to source and serve your breakfast of choice - just ask and we will do our best! Sometimes we will need 24 hours notice.

THE RUTLAND COTTAGE BREAKFAST OPTIONS INCLUDE:

The Full Rutland

The RC Super Starter

Smoked salmon and scrambled eggs on toast

Childhood favourites such as boiled egg and soldiers, poached eggs, bacon butty, American pancakes with maple syrup, or good old beans on toast!

There is, of course, also tea and coffee, juice, fresh fruit and a wide selection of cereals and soda bread to choose from. All our eggs are free-range.

Full breakfast is usually served between the hours of 8.00am to 9.30am. With notice we can make arrangements for earlier risers for events such as triathlon and sailing competitions.

Please let us know in advance if you are vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, dairy free or have any other special dietary requests and we will be happy to make the necessary arrangements.

To save you the hassle we are happy to prepare additional meals for you to enjoy while you are out and about or in the comfort of your own accommodation.

Picnics

We are happy to prepare picnics for your day exploring. We have several options available. Just ask us for latest prices and options when you book.

Dinner

If you don’t feel like cooking when you return, exhilarated but slightly exhausted, from your day outside, we are happy to cook for you. With sufficient notice we offer a selection of meals, suitable for all ages and tastes which can be served in your own accommodation. Simply enquire ahead of your stay and we will be more than happy to share our latest seasonal menu.  Likewise, there are a number of very good places to eat out locally at The Noel http://www.thenoel.co.uk
